In-house
orientation and staff development play a crucial role in building a strong, cohesive team
capable of achieving project objectives. Orientation sessions are an
opportunity to showcase management’s capacity - including experience in
overseeing technical assistance, administrative and financial processes,
monitoring and evaluation, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
During my
previous roles with various international NGOs, I conducted several staff
orientation sessions that reflected the diverse technical and managerial
requirements of the programs. These sessions were essential in enabling teams
to effectively coordinate with a wide range of regional project offices and
align efforts with overall program goals.
